Topsog, Dude we do have a group that is dedicated to building and improving the local trails; www.bikepenticton.com Frank the Builder, VMan, Bill & Kim; all builders, all members; all supporters of PACA (bikepenticton.com) We have successfully lobbied BC Parks, The Land Conservancy, The Nature Conservancy and the ministry responsible for access to Crown land for rights to build / maintain trails. Small first steps, but we gotta' start somewhere! I've been doing a lot of spade-work this spring as well, and as soon as I finish up a project on Campbell's backside, will continue working on the South Okanagan's first legitimate / sanctioned 'built from the ground up' intermediate-level trail in the Bog area. I cut in three sections last fall, and over the next few years hope to link them into a large loop. Join us and make a difference in the South Okanagan! Andrew D.
